De Engelse singer-songwriter Andrew "Roo" Panes werd bekend in zijn thuisland door zijn deelname aan een Burberry-campagne (zowel als model als muzikant). Met zijn twaalfsnarige gitaar maakt Panes fijne, hypnotiserende muziek en brengt hij sinds 2011 muziek uit. In juni kwam zijn derde album 'Quiet Man', opnieuw een bundel vol mooie klassieke folkliedjes. De Brit toont gelijkenissen met artiesten als Ben Howard, Sufjan Stevens en Bon Iver, die net als Panes persoonlijke en tijdloze nummers maken, altijd met een positieve twist.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
