Op 15 januari staat de Amerikaanse R&B-, jazz- en soulartiest PJ Morton in Paradiso Noord. PJ Morton uit New Orleans is veelgevraagd zanger, muzikant en bandleider en speelde door de jaren heen met iconische artiesten als Stevie Wonder, Solange, Erykah Badu en Maroon 5. Maar de virtuoze PJ schittert het hardst wanneer hij zélf aan het roer van het schip staat: zo werd hij met zijn soloproject genomineerd voor twee Grammy’s en gaf hij onlangs een veelbesproken NPR’s Tiny Desk optreden inclusief een tienkoppig strijkersorkest. Na een uitverkocht concert in de kleine zaal van Paradiso in 2018 komt hij terug naar Amsterdam voor een show in Paradiso Noord.

How to get to Tolhuistuin
Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant THT serves an extensive menu for any music lover – making a reservation is recommended.
