Nubiyan Twist is een negenkoppig collectief geboren uit de eclectische underground muziekscene van Leeds, Engeland met een uniek geluid dat wordt geïnspireerd door jazz, ska, hiphop, elektronica en Afrikaanse muziek. De band werd opgericht door bandleider, producer en gitarist Tom Excell, tevens bekend van zijn werk met de band Oripa, en ontmoette elkaar op de Leeds College of Music. Nubiyan Twist klinkt met hun mix van culturen, ritmes en genres en ultra-strakke en dansbare liveshows zowel nostalgisch als modern tegelijkertijd. In maart 2021 verschijnt hun nieuwe album 'Freedom Fables' en in oktober zie je de band in Paradiso.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
