Maak kennis met Novo Amor, oftewel de Britse singer-songwriter en producer Ali Lacey met zijn hemelse liedjes en kenmerkende, kalmerende kopstem. Sinds zijn EP ‘Woodgate, NY’ (2014) en de videoclips waarin de zee opvallend vaak een hoofdrol speelt, is zijn ster rijzende. De multi-instrumentalist groeide op in de bergen van Wales en de eenzaamheid daarvan is terug te horen in de muziek. Afgelopen jaar bracht hij in samenwerking met Ed Tullett zijn eerste langspeler uit, ‘Heiress’. Eind 2018 is de planning dat zijn eigen debuutplaat uitkomt. Aanrader voor liefhebbers van bijvoorbeeld Asgeir, Ry X en Bon Iver.

How to get to Tolhuistuin
Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein
