Nathan Ball maakt alt-folk met een zomers maar duister tintje. Mooie soundscapes worden voorzien van de warme stem van Ball, afgewisseld met stevige gitaarpartijen. Zijn werk is een fusie tussen twee liefdes: het klassieke nummers schrijven zoals Paul Simon en Van Morrison en de gretigheid om te experimenteren. Regelmatig brengt de in Londen wonende Ball muziek uit, waarvan een verzameling akoestische nummers het meest recent is.
