Moddi is Pål Moddi Knutsen. Deze Noorse singer-songwriter bracht in 2011 zijn debuutalbum ‘Floriography’ uit. Hij begon zijn muzikale carrière met een geleende accordeon en gitaar waarop hij zichzelf leerde spelen. Zo ontwikkelde hij een ietwat onorthodoxe techniek, maar die levert dan wel weer wonderschone muziek op. Nummers vol emotie, subtiel en toch sfeervol. Alsof hij de juiste weg tussen Björk en Damien Rice heeft weten te vinden. Zijn nieuwe album ‘Like In 1968’ is een ode aan het jaar 1968 en brengt een belangrijke boodschap met zich mee: “It's never too late to start dreaming again.”

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
