Meskerem Mees is in het bezit van een gouden stem en dito liedjes van een tijdloze schoonheid. Met behulp van een akoestische gitaar en het cellospel van haar goede vriendin Febe, tovert ze haar gelaagde en zorgvuldig opgebouwde songs om tot heel fraaie luisterervaringen. De jonge artiest uit Gent verovert met haar debuutsingle ‘Joe’ in 2020 vele harten in België en daarbuiten. Het nummer legt de lat meteen hoog voor haar eerste album, dat dit najaar verschijnt. Dat niet alleen het publiek van haar geniet, blijkt ook als ze in januari 2022 de Grand Jury Prize wint tijdens de Music Moves Europe Awards. Een prijs die eerder werd gewonnen door o.a. Adele en Dua Lipa.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
