De uit Atlanta afkomstige zangeres, designer en illustrator maakt retropop en rock ’n roll met invloeden van soul en blues. Haar muziek lijkt regelrecht afkomstig uit de jaren '60. Eerder bracht Mattiel haar gelijknamige debuutalbum uit op het wereldwijd geliefde Burger Records. Daarna verscheen opvolger 'Satis Factory', waarop de krachtige vocalen van Mattiel Brown opnieuw indruk maken en ze zich nog meer positioneert als een wellustige, geestige en charismatische vuurpijl. Binnenkort keert ze terug met 'Georgia Gothic', waarop de zangeres het alledaagse leven in Amerika in 2020 overpeinst. How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
