Lucas Laufen is een artiest wiens muziek klinkt als therapie. Hij creëert delicate folk met rustige zangpartijen, akoestische gitaren, piano en elektronische instrumenten, waardoor de chaotische wereld om je heen even verdwijnt. Lucas groeide op in het kleine dorpje Port Lincoln, Australië, maar woont nu in Berlijn. In de muziek probeert hij de rustieke uitzichten van Australië te combineren met de rijke historie van Europa. Het debuut, 'Goodbye' uit 2016 werd in 2018 opgevolgd door 'I Know Where Silence Lives'. Het nieuwe album 'Weathering' is opgenomen met Grammy-winnende producer Antonio Pulli (o.a. Feist, David Sylvian, Nils Frahm, Kings of Convenience, Ólafur Arnalds) en verschijnt 29 april.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
