De Amerikaanse folkpunk singer-songwriter Laura Jane Grace werd bekend als frontvrouw en oprichter van punkrockband Against Me! uit Florida. De band brak vijftien jaar geleden internationaal door. In 2012 kwam Grace publiekelijk uit de kast als transvrouw. Twee jaar later bracht ze met Against Me! hun veelgeprezen zesde studioalbum Transgender Dysphoria Blues uit, waarop ze haar genderdysforie en transitie bezingt. Sinds kort brengt Laura Jane Grace ook als soloartiest muziek uit; uitgeklede en pure folknummers waar nog steeds haar punkrockroots in doorklinken.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
