Voor iemand wiens eerste album twee jaar terug pas uitkwam heeft Kenny Mason al een aardige stempel op zijn carrière weten te drukken. Zijn veelzijdige en jonge discografie zweeft tussen trap, rock, lo-fi, punk en elektronisch en kwam op de radar van de befaamde producer Kenny Beats. Uiteindelijk bracht dit Mason een gastoptreden bij een aflevering van Kenny zijn YouTube-serie "The Cave".
Het debuutalbum in kwestie, "Angelic Hoodrat" uit 2020, is een avontuurlijk en experimenteel eerste project voor de rapper uit Atlanta. Met als basis een voornamelijk donker, somber en reflecterend geluid, zorgt Kenny's experimenteren voor een verfrissende eerste indruk.
