Tien jaar na hun laatste album, is de Noorse rockband Kaizers Orchestra terug van weggeweest. Kaizers Orchestra maakt cathartische rockmuziek met invloeden uit de Oost-Europese folkmuziek en de klaagzangen van Tin Pin Alley. De band werd opgericht op de eerste dag van het nieuwe millennium en bestaat uit Janove Ottesen en Geir Zahl op zang/gitaar/olievat, Helge Risa op pomporgel, Oyvind Storesund op bas, Terje Wintersto Rothing op gitaar en Rune Solheim op drums. Het zestal is in hun eigen land immens populair en won onder andere een Noorse Grammy.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
