Singer-songwriter Julie Byrne maakt poëtische folkmuziek over vriendschap, liefde en verlies. Op haar tweede album, 'Not Even Happiness' uit 2017, zet de artiest nieuwe stappen op het gebied van intimiteit, waarbij haar gitaar als bijna als een echo van haar stem klinkt. Na een moeilijke, maar inspirerende periode in 2023, komt Byrne krachtig terug. Op 'The Greater Wings' geeft ze thema's als rouw, intimiteit en verandering een plekje en verbreedt daarnaast haar kenmerkende tokkelende gitaargeluid met synthklanken, piano, harp en strijkers.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
