De jonge Nederlandse singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist en rapper Joshua J maakt moderne r&b, hiphop en soul. Hij groeide op in Breda als kind van West-Afrikaanse ouders en is sinds jonge leeftijd bezig met muziek. In maart 2019 bracht hij zijn debuutalbum ‘1998’ uit, een ongekend krachtig en persoonlijk debuutalbum waarop hij zingt over zijn lastige jeugd. Het album kreeg internationaal veel aandacht van gerenommeerde blogs als Complex UK en smaakmakers als Julie Adenuga van Beats1. Niet gek dus, dat alle tickets voor zijn eerste eigen concert in Nederland in de Melkweg razendsnel de deur uit vlogen en hij werd gevraagd om het voorprogramma te verzorgen voor iconische artiesten als Anderson .Paak en Boyz II Men. Op 20 juni 2021 komt Joshua J terug naar Paradiso voor een coronaproof concert in de grote zaal.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.Â
