Josef Salvat is een Australische singer-songwriter die succes vond met zijn debuut EP met hierop een cover van Rihanna's 'Diamonds'. Hij maakt verwonderende gitaarliedjes die soms flink de diepte in gaan; nummers die in je hoofd blijven zitten en je tegelijkertijd bij de keel grijpen. Zoete popliedjes met een donker randje. De zanger bracht in het voorjaar nog een nieuwe EP uit maar is nu alweer terug met de eerste singles van zijn aankomende album.
