De raadselachtige synthpopmuzikant John Maus boetseert zijn minimalistische nummers tot een betekenisvolle en humorvolle ervaring. Zijn muziek wordt vaak als retro-futuristisch omschreven, wat dat dan ook moge betekenen. Met een doctoraat in politieke filosofie op zak, creëert Maus een eigenzinnige mix van punkrock en experimentele pop. Zijn albums, waaronder het veelgeprezen 'We Must Become The Pitiless Censors Of Ourselves' (2011), spreken verder voor zichzelf. Met een 6-LP boxset en nieuwe projecten in de maak, weet de excentriekeling een intrigerend figuur in de muziekwereld te blijven.Â

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.Â
