Dat je geen geboren Amerikaan hoeft te zijn om prachtige Americana te maken, bewijst de Nederlandse singer-songwriter Joe Buck. De 23-jarige Rock Academie-alumni, overigens niet te verwarren met de Amerikaanse muzikant met dezelfde naam van o.a. Legendary Shack Shakers, trok na zijn afstuderen naar Nashville om songs te schrijven voor zijn debuutalbum. Dat gaat hem voor de wind. Het gaat zelfs zó goed, dat zijn single ‘The Way You Take Time’ benoemd werd tot de NPO Radio 2 Topsong en hij als eerste Nederlandse artiest ooit heeft opgetreden op CMA Fest, het grootste countrymuziekfestival van Amerika. Zijn debuutalbum volgt later dit jaar, maar nog vóór die tijd geeft hij met zijn band een optreden in Paradiso Noord.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
