De Amerikaanse singer-songwriter Jessica Lea Mayfield bracht in 2005 - op zestienjarige leeftijd - haar eerste EP uit. Dan Auerbach van The Black Keys was zo onder de indruk van de nummers daarop, dat hij besloot haar debuutalbum te produceren. De muzikale carrière van Mayfield begon echter acht jaar eerder, toen ze met haar ouders' bluegrassband al podia betrad. Het nieuwste album 'Sorry Is Gone' is opnieuw een folkpop-parel, waarin de artieste haar invloeden uit geboortestaat Ohio en bluegrassopvoeding mengt ze met moderne garage. Een nieuwe uitgave met recht-voor-zijn-raap-nummers waarop Mayfield eerlijker is dan ooit.Â

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.Â
