Artist statement:
“With the current global situation with the Coronavirus worsening by the day, we are sad to announce that by mutual decision with our partners, JC Stewart has been forced to cancel the whole of his to May tour and subsequently the show at Paradiso Noord on May 15th.
The safety of JC, band, crew and fans is the most important thing at the moment and we think it is sensible right now to just take some time to consider when it is appropriate to come back with a new show and tour, but please stay tuned on social media to keep up with news in the coming months. Please return to your point of purchase for more details.”

In zijn Instagram-bio prijken alleen de woorden ‘professional sad boy’, maar JC Stewart is vooral een snel opkomende singer-songwriter om heel goed in de gaten te houden. Zijn liedjes zijn intiem in de basis maar worden in de studio uitgebouwd tot echte pop-anthems. Zo ook een van zijn meest recente releases ‘Have You Had Enough Wine?’. De 22-jarige artiest uit Ierland speelt gitaar vanaf zijn twaalfde en begon binnen een jaar met het schrijven van zijn eigen nummers. Hij werd ontdekt door producer Tre Sheppard en zo begon een samenwerking die zelfs doorging tijdens de schoolpauzes. Zijn carrière kreeg een vliegende start en ondertussen is JC Stewart al geboekt als support voor LAUV, Vance Joy en tourt hij met James Bay.
