STATEMENT FROM JAKE LA BOTZ:

Dear Friends,

I feel incredibly sad to tell you that I’m canceling the remainder of my European tour due to the unfortunate and rapid spread of the coronavirus. As you know, more and more countries are asking for people to stay away from crowds to try and slow the spread of the virus and to protect the elderly, the sick, and the general public. I’ve decided the best way I can honor the situation is to bring this tour to an early close. I want to come back and see you all as soon as possible.

De veelzijdige Amerikaanse blues en rock-‘n-roll singer-songwriter Jake La Botz geeft op zaterdag 14 maart mét band een concert in Paradiso. De inmiddels 51-jarige zanger en gitarist groeide op ‘Blues City’ Chicago en kwam in deze stad in contact met legendarische blues-muzikanten als David "Honeyboy" Edwards en Homesick James. De invloed van deze iconische leermeesters hoor je nog altijd terug in zijn composities, gitaarspel, teksten en zijn zware, doorleefde zangstem. Naast muzikant is La Botz ook verdienstelijk acteur: zo speelde hij in diverse Hollywoodfilms aan de zijde van sterren als Steve Buscemi en Sylvester Stallone.
