Ian Noe blies een tijdje geleden het Sugar Mountain-publiek omver met zijn stem en geluid en tijdens zijn concert op 3 juni zal hij dat, dit keer met band, ongetwijfeld weer doen. Ian leerde gitaarspelen van zijn opa en vader en stond al vroeg op het podium. Vanaf jonge leeftijd keek hij op naar folk-helden als Bob Dylan, John Prine en Arlo Guthrie. Het is dan ook niet gek dat je hun invloeden terug hoort in zijn eigen akoestische rootsgeluid. Het debuutalbum 'Between the Country' staat vol met muziek die moet klinken als de sound van Kentucky, het thuisgevoel voor Noe. Aan het album werkte Dave Cobb mee en het resultaat is een plaat die melodramatische thema's beschrijft en waar de prachtige stem van Noe voor gemaakt lijkt te zijn.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
