I am Oak is Thijs Kuijken. Al sinds 2008 is het muzikale project van de Utrechtse songwriter een indrukwekkende verschijning in de Nederlandse muziekscene. Dit najaar brengt de band hun zesde studioalbum uit, getiteld 'Osmosis'. Sinds debuutalbum 'On Claws' in 2010 is de band bekend geworden om hun folkmuziek met prachtige arrangementen. Vandaag de dag zelfs met piano als kern, zoals te horen op het eerder uitgekomen 'Will I Wake' en nieuwste single 'Swells'. Nadat de band al tourde door 17 landen, volgt er nu eerst een Nederlandse clubtour.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
