HOWRAH is een vierkoppige Amsterdamse band waarin we (ex-)leden van diverse illustere bands herkennen. Zanger/gitarist Cees Appeldoorn was spil in de band Zoppo, die rond de eeuwwisseling aan de weg timmerde. Drumster Ineke van Duivenvoorde en bassist Aico Turba vormden tot eind 2014, toen gitarist Corno Zwetsloot overleed, de ritme-sectie van de illustere Bollenstreekse noise rock band Space Siren. Gijs Loots (gitaar/bas) tenslotte, speelt in Slow Worries en tot voor kort in Bombay. Op 1 juni verschijnt HOWRAH's debuutalbum 'Self serving strategies' bij Subroutine Records.

Om de feestvreugde te vergroten neemt de band Apneu en Zea als supports mee.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
