Helaas heeft Good Charlotte ons laten weten genoodzaakt te zijn de show in Paradiso op 5 augustus te cancelen. Alle kaartkopers ontvangen een e-mail met hierin meer informatie waar je je tickets kunt retourneren. Het statement van de band:

GC fans everywhere, it is with great disappointment that we have to announce the cancellation of our remaining summer tour dates. This year has been one of the most challenging years for our band, as we’ve been dealing with very personal and unexpected loss in our family. We have to take the time to focus on our families and our well being. Thank you for the love and support you’ve given us, we hope you know the genuine appreciation we have for you all. Good Charlotte komt terug naar Amsterdam: op maandag 5 augustus staat de invloedrijke poppunkband in Paradiso. De band rondom tweelingbroers Joel and Benji Madden scoorde aan het begin van dit millennium hit na hit en staat inmiddels al bijna twintig jaar aan de top als één van de populairste bands uit het genre. De energieke liveshows van Good Charlotte puilen anno 2019 nog steeds uit met tijdloze poppunkklassiekers als ‘Lifestyles of the Rich & Famous’, ‘I Just Wanna Live’ en ‘The Anthem’, aangevuld met nieuw werk van hun laatste albums 'Youth Authority' (2016) en 'Generation Rx' (2018). Het is inmiddels alweer 9 jaar geleden dat het vijftal uit Maryland te zien was in onze hoofdstad. Hoog tijd dus, dat ze deze zomer weer eens langskomen voor een exclusieve Nederlandse show in Paradiso.
