Froukje is nog maar 18 jaar als ze zich in 2020 met haar singles ‘Groter dan Ik’ en ‘Ik Wil Dansen’ in één klap profileert als een van de nieuwe beloften van de Nederlandse alternatieve pop. De nummers bieden haar dansbare en zelfgeschreven perspectieven op de huidige klimaatcrisis en existentiële thema’s, ook zijn ze goed voor tonnen views en miljoenen streams. Ze tekent een contract bij het platenlabel Top Notch, waar haar debuut-EP ‘Licht En Donker’ begin 2021 op verschijnt. Na deze vliegende start van haar muzikale carrière zijn de verwachtingen rondom de artiest hooggespannen, en terecht.
