Het officiële statement vanuit de band luidt: "Guys! We’re so so sorry but unfortunately Sam has had a little accident on his bike and has messed up his wrist! :( Because he’s unable to play, we're gonna have to postpone the upcoming European shows. We're absolutely gutted but we'll be rescheduling the dates as soon as we can! (all refunds available at point of sale)". 

De afgelopen drie jaar bestond uit non-stop toeren, de streams op Spotify lopen in de miljoenen en het debuutalbum komt pas binnenkort uit. Het Britse vijftal van Fickle Friends maakt catchy indiepop met veel synths en speelde al op festivals als Pukkelpop, Reading and Leeds en Best Kept Secret. Op 16 maart komt hun langverwachte debuutalbum ‘You Are Someone Else’ uit en dat gaat over de vreugdes en onzekerheden van het zijn van een millennial in 2017. Zangeres Natti Shiner zei over het album “We always wanted to make a record that made people dance and think at the same time. If any of these songs help anyone feel cool, or strong or even just less alone then we’ll have achieved what we wanted."
