De Haagse poprockband DI-RECT brak door in 2001. Inmiddels heeft de vierkoppige band maar liefst tien albums, diverse Top 40-hits, talloze muziekprijzen en meer dan 2000 (!) liveshows in binnen- en buitenland op de teller staan en hiermee is DI-RECT niet meer weg te denken uit het Nederlandse muzieklandschap. In 2020 keerde DI-RECT na een korte pauze terug met het album 'Wild Hearts’; een eclectische plaat die inspiratie put uit rock, soul, pop en indie. Het album werd opgevolgd door de nieuwe single 'OMG It's Happening' uit 2023 en een album met het Residentie Orkest. Onlangs liet de band weten in 2024 hun nieuwste plaat 'SPHINX' uit te brengen. Op 3 en 4 oktober 2024 staat de band in het kader van hun gelijknamige clubtournee in Paradiso in Amsterdam.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.Â
