Desire is een elektronische band gevormd in Montreal en momenteel gevestigd in Palm Springs. Ze maken synthpop waarbij film, mode en fantasie elkaar ontmoeten op de dansvloer. Op het podium beweegt zangeres Megan Louise, vergezeld door componist Johnny Jewel (Chromatics, Glass Candy, Twin Peaks), theatraal tussen Frans en Engels terwijl ze van top tot teen in latex gedrapeerd is. Desire kreeg wereldwijde bekendheid met hun hit 'Under Your Spell', dat een prominente rol speelde in de neon noir-film Drive uit 2011. In 2019 leidde Desire samen met labelgenoten Chromatics de Double Exposure-wereldtournee. De uitvoeringen waren complete sonische en visuele emersie voor het publiek.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein
