Damien Jurado brengt sinds 1995 lofi folk uit, en blijft zich album na album vernieuwen. De man uit Seattle tekende al voor zijn debuut 'Waters Ave S.' bij kwaliteitslabel Sub Pop, om zo'n tien jaar later te verkassen naar Secretly Canadian, waarop ook zijn nieuwste album 'The Horizon Just Laughed' uitkomt. In een bijzondere samenwerking was de singer-songwriter te horen op enkele tracks van het album 'Innocents' van Moby uit 2013. De muziek van Damien Jurado is door de jaren heen gegroeid, maar heeft zijn weemoedige ondertoon nooit verloren. Live trekt hij je mee in zijn emoties wat resulteert in zeer indrukwekkende optredens, zoals Jurado al meerdere keren in Paradiso aantoonde.

How to get to De Duif

De Duif is on Prinsengracht 754 in Amsterdam, which is close to Rembrandtplein. Take tram 4, 9 or 24 from Amsterdam Central Station and step out at Rembrandtplein. From there you can walk to de Duif.
