Due to the ongoing uncertain situation surrounding the coronavirus, Cory Wong has decided to move his concert in Paradiso to March 29, 2022. Tickets remain valid for the new date. Ticket buyers will receive an email with more information.

A personal message from Cory Wong:

Unfortunately.....

I have to reschedule my Europe tour due to the ever changing restrictions and requirements for international travel (and having 4 different passport countries represented in my band). Work visas and requirements have been inconsistent from country to country and even week to week. I’m purely bummed… but stoked to come back in March/April to hit hard!

- yes I absolutely love you all and want to play live in front of you when we can
- yes your tickets are good for the reschedule which is planned for March-April, or refunded if you want
- yes we are all vaccinated
- yes by then I will have yet another album of music I’ve recorded because I’ve been in creative studio mode the last 18 months

Op zondag 17 oktober staat de wervelende funkgitarist en zelfbenoemd 'hype-man' Cory Wong in Paradiso. De 36-jarige gitarist uit Minneapolis begon zijn glansrijke carrière in de band Dr. Mambo's Combo, samen met een aantal bandleden van Prince. Dit bleef niet onopgemerkt: hij werd al opgepikt door funkband Vulfpack en bekende muzikanten als Gene Simmons, Questlove, Bootsy Collins en Blake Shelton, die allemaal in de rij stonden om met hem samen te werken. Cory Wong staat bekend om zijn veelzijdigheid en charismatische podiumprésence: hij is thuis in de genres jazz, pop, r&b, funk, soul en rock en alles daartussenin en steelt tijdens liveshows steevast en goedlachs de show met zijn aanstekelijke en positieve energie.

Cory Wong: ''For me, it's all about the listener's experience. I want them to have a visceral response like: 'I feel better,' 'That was really fun,' or 'I got to escape for an hour.'. If I can get one person to feel good this way, it’s a success''.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
