Chromatics treedt voor het eerst in vijf jaar weer op. De synthpopband zet speciaal voor deze Double Exposure Tour het beste werk van de albums ‘Night Drive’, ‘Kill For Love’, ‘Cherry’ en ‘Dear Tommy’ in de schijnwerpers. Tijdens de shows worden de visuals van Chromatics-bandlid Johnny Jewel live gemixt door videokunstenaar Danny Perez (Antibirth, Panda Bear). Een filmische ervaring die de grens tussen het podium en het scherm doet vervagen.
De Amerikaanse band maakt in 2012 furore met ‘Kill For Love’; de plaat waarop hun zwoele mix van electropop en Italo disco-noir excelleert. De combinatie van vintage synths, delicaat gitaarspel en de bedwelmende stem van Ruth Radelet maakt dat Chromatics retro én futuristisch klinkt. In 2017 figureert de band in de veelgeprezen tv-serie Twin Peaks met de mysterieuze track ‘Shadow’. Dit jaar releaset Chromatics de nieuwste single ‘Time Rider’.

How to get to Paradiso
Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.Â
