Als kind van ouders die actief waren in de diehard punk-scene van het Londense Camden, groeide Chelou op met muziek. Hij is nu een jonge, onafhankelijke artiest en producer die in 2014 zijn eerste werk online gooide. Dat leverde een behoorlijke online buzz op, maar bij het nummer 'Halway To Nowhere' ging het pas echt als een speer. Na de voorprogramma's te hebben verzorgd bij Bloc Party en Thurston Moore, verschijnt binnenkort eindelijk het geanticipeerde debuutalbum, waarvan single 'Out Of Sight' alvast een aangename voorbode is. Verwacht geen snoeiharde punk, maar subtiele indie-electropop die ergens tussen het werk van artiesten als Beck, Bon Iver en Cat power in hangt.

How to get to Cinetol

Cinetol is on Tolstraat 182 in the South of Amsterdam. The closest tram stop is Lutmastraat. There is also a nice restaurant in the building where you can have dinner before the show. Cinetol only accepts card payment, no cash.
