“De meest opwindende countryplaat sinds Margo Price”. Die uitspraak van The Line of Best Fit liegt er niet om. Het onlangs verschenen ‘Carousel’ van de Amerikaanse singer-songwriter Carson McHone valt in de smaak: Rolling Stone nam het album op in hun Top 40 Country-albums van 2018. Haar werk is donker, autoritair en spreekt tot de verbeelding. Je hoort zowel McHone’s honky-tonk invloeden, als haar hedendaagse manier van verhalen vertellen in een alt-country stijl. De meeslepende nummers van de baanbrekende country en rootsmuzikant zetten traditionele thema’s in een moderne context.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein.

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant in which you can have a bite before the show. We advise to make a reservation in advance via this website.
