Built to Spill is één van de populairste indierockbands van de jaren ’90 en zit ergens tussen het lo-fi geluid van Pavement en het vrije gitaar jammen van Neil Young in. Inmiddels heeft de band rond frontman Doug Martsch een reputatie opgebouwd als opwindende en onvoorspelbare live-act, vol met gitaarsolo’s waar ze hun handen niet voor om lijken te draaien. 'Untethered Moon' uit 2015 is het achtste en vooralsnog meest recente album van Built to Spill.

How to get to Tolhuistuin
Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry is departing from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. Turn left and you’ll walk into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance is used (Buiksloterweg 5C), which can be reached via the Overhoeksplein. Restaurant THT serves an extensive menu for any music lover – making a reservation is recommended.
