This is the rescheduled concert from May 12, 2020 and May 15, 2021. Tickets purchased for the first two dates remain valid for the new date. The location of this concert is Paradiso's main hall.

Important: This event is 1G, which means you need to show a negative test result at the doors. To gain access, please bring the following:

1. Your ticket for this programme.
2. A negative test result in the Dutch CoronaCheck app, a CoronaCheck print or a test result in your EU country's corona app not older than 24 hours. (for visitors of 13 years and older)

Zangeres en songwriter Bebel Gilberto blaast, sinds haar solodebuut in 1986, op onnavolgbare wijze en met een uniek stemgeluid nieuw leven in traditionele bossanova. Geboren en getogen in de Verenigde Staten als dochter van grote Braziliaanse muzikanten João Gilberto en Miúcha weet zij de Zuid-Amerikaanse klanken te vermengen met popmuziek en zo een heel nieuw en breed publiek aan te boren. Haar doorbraakalbum 'Tanto Tempo' uit 2000 positioneerde Gilberto als een van de best verkopende Braziliaanse artiesten in de Verenigde Staten sinds de jaren '60. Vele kritisch geprezen albums volgden, waarvan 'All in One' uit 2009 zelfs een Grammy nominatie ontving. Op haar meest recente werk, genaamd 'Tudo', keert zij terug naar haar kenmerkende zwoele Braziliaanse ritmes doordrenkt met elektronische beats.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
