"Americana chansons", zo zou je de liedjes van Baptiste W. Hamon kunnen noemen. De singer-songwriter uit Parijs maakt authentieke Americana, gezongen in zijn moerstaal. Zijn debuutplaat ‘L’insouciance’ nam hij op in Nashville. Het resultaat is een verrassend album vol prachtige Franstalige countryliedjes. 'Peut-être Que Nous Serions Heureux' werd zelfs een enorme hit in thuisland Frankrijk. Het grote voorbeeld van Baptiste W. Hamon is de Amerikaanse folkzanger Townes van Zandt. Tegelijkertijd haalt hij zijn inspiratie ook uit de Franse en Belgische songwriters waar zijn ouders naar luisteren, zoal Jacques Brel en Serge Reggiani.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
