Het is in 2022 42 jaar geleden dat Bad Religion opgericht werd. In vier decennia groeide de band uit Los Angeles uit tot vaandeldragers van de melodieuze en politiek getinte punkrock. Frontman Greg Graffin is met zijn opvallende zang al sinds het begin drijvende kracht achter de band. Anno 2020 bestaat de band daarnaast uit originele bandleden Brett Gurewitz (gitaar) en Jay Bentley (bas), aangevuld met gitaristen Brian Baker en Mike Dimkich en Drummer Jamie Miller. Door de jaren heen verschenen maar liefst zeventien albums, waarvan 'Age of Unreason' uit 2019 de meest recente is. Tijdens de door corona twee jaar uitgestelde '40th Anniversary Tour' mogen we verwachten dat de band veel parels uit het oeuvre gaat spelen, waaronder natuurlijk '21st Century (Digital Boy)', 'American Jesus' en 'Los Angeles Is Burning'. En 'I Want To Conquer The World', al heeft Bad Religion dat natuurlijk al jaren geleden gedaan.

How to get to Paradiso

Paradiso is on the Weteringschans 6-8 in Amsterdam. That is very close to Leidseplein. From every part of the city there are trams heading towards Leidseplein. From there on out you can walk to Paradiso. Free and secured underground bike parking is available on the opposite side of Paradiso. Travelling by car is difficult, since there are only a few busy parking lots nearby.
