Anna von Hausswolff staat bekend om haar expressieve optredens en stem. Haar muziek is zeer intens, bij tijd en wijle zelfs beklemmend, maar tegelijkertijd ook breekbaar. Ze zwellen aan, trekken open en dicht en worden schitterend overgoten met de geaffecteerde, gotische zang van Von Hausswolff. In maart verschijnt het nieuwe album 'Dead Magic' waarop net als op voorganger 'The Miraculous' regelmatig orgel te horen is. Liefhebbers van Kate Bush, Ane Brun en Dead Can Dance zullen ook Anna von Hausswolff waarderen.
