De Zweedse singer-songwriter Anna Ternheim staat bekend om haar tijdloze, ingetogen liedjes. De uiterst productieve Zweedse (1978, Stockholm) bracht al 6 albums en een hele rits EP’s uit. Het debuutalbum ‘Somebody Outside’ uit 2004 sloeg in haar thuisland in als een bom en sleepte verschillende prijzen in de wacht. Haar zwoele, stemmige muziek refereert veelvuldig aan traditionele folk en Amerikaanse rootsmuziek, zonder dat de kenmerkende Scandinavische toon ondersneeuwt. Haar laatste studioalbum ‘For The Young’ stamt uit 2015, waarna ze in 2016 een live plaat uitbracht genaamd ‘Live In Stockholm’. Nu is ze terug met haar nieuwste wapenfeit ‘All The Way To Rio’.

How to get to Vondelkerk

The Vondel Church is on Vondelstraat 120A. That is right at the Vondelpark and Leidseplein. Take tram 1, 2 or 5 and get out at the Leidseplein stop. From there on out it is a 10 minute walk to the Vondel Church.
