Knits and Notes turns 1! That calls for a celebration.

On the 11^th of may we will have a festive program where we will look back on a year full of crafting, music and storytelling. There will be a special exhibit, showing pieces made in the past year at our events, and as always music combined with crafting.

Esther Onstein

Esther’s sets are not bound by one genre or style in particular. Mixing music allows her to play with all the various ways in which music can be experienced, through ears, hearts, nerves and mind. She has a style of mixing that is focused on putting together different textures and ambiences that make sense to her, hoping her affection for her selection translates and is shared.

Zo lief

Zo Lief are a psychedelic dream pop duo made up of Dutch vocalist and
songwriter Laura Chen and British multi-instrumentalist James Attwood, who divide their time between England and The Netherlands.

The duo pair cinematic chamber pop melodies with lively garage rock guitars, dubby basslines and 70s funk synthesisers to create a retro leaning yet forward thinking sound.

How to get to Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (formerly Paradiso Noord) is located at IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam North. A free ferry runs from Amsterdam Central Station to Buiksloterweg. From there, turn left and you’ll walk straight into Tolhuistuin. For club nights, the rear entrance (Buiksloterweg 5C) is used. This entrance can be reached via Overhoeksplein

Restaurant
Tolhuistuin also has a restaurant where you can enjoy a meal before the show. We recommend making a reservation in advance via this website.
