Het concert van The Dears + Perfect Son op 25 april is uitgesteld en vindt nu plaats op dinsdag 17 november om 19:00 (zaal open: 18:30 uur). De locatie en aanvangstijden zijn niet aangepast. Reeds gekochte kaarten blijven geldig voor de nieuwe datum. Ticketkopers ontvangen een e-mail met meer informatie.

The April 25th concert of The Dears + Perfect Son is postponed to Tuesday November 17th at 19:00h (doors: 18:30h). The location and times have not changed. Bought tickets remain valid for the new date of the concert. All ticket buyers will receive an e-mail with details shortly.

Artist statement:
Thanks to our wonderful team, we were able to move most of our upcoming April tour in the UK and Europe to November 2020, and are just working on the final few dates. We hope you can still make it; for together, we shall celebrate so HARD.

Sinds het doorbraakalbum ‘No Cities Left’ (2003) staan The Dears uit Montreal bekend om hun fijnzinnige indierocknummers met Britpop-invloeden, gedragen door de donkere stem van Murray Lightburn. Destijds was Montreal dé indiehoofdstad van de wereld met een bloeiende muziekscene, waaruit onder meer Arcade Fire, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah en Patrick Watson voortkwamen. Na het uitkomen van ‘Degeneration Street’ in 2011 bleef het een tijdje stil rondom The Dears, maar in 2017 heeft de band zich herpakt met het album ‘Times Infinity Volume One’. Even later kwam ook deel twee uit, waarmee de Canadezen bewezen wederom in topvorm te zijn.
