Op donderdag 12 maart 2020 heeft de Nederlandse overheid in overleg met het Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu (RIVM) onder meer besloten dat evenementen met meer dan honderd personen verboden zijn. Dit in betrekking tot het indammen van de verspreiding van het coronavirus COVID-19. Tot en met maandag 1 juni 2020 moeten alle programma’s worden opgeschort en waar mogelijk verplaatst.Gezien de omvang van het programma van Paradiso kan het een aantal weken duren voordat er meer informatie is over de opgeschorte programma’s. Wanneer de wijzigingen duidelijk zijn, wordt per programma een e-mail met informatie naar alle ticketkopers verstuurd. Updates over programma’s zal ook beschikbaar komen op de programma-pagina’s op onze website.

We verzoeken bezoekers om niet telefonisch of per e-mail om meer informatie te vragen.

IN ORDER TO HELP PREVENT THE SPREAD OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS, THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED

In order to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Dutch Government under advice from the Ministry of Environment and Health (RIVM) has decided to cancel events of 100 or more attendees. Up to and including maandag 1 June 2020, all events must be cancelled and rescheduled when possible.Due to the extensive amount of events in Paradiso, it may take a few weeks before there is more information on the consequences. When the rescheduled dates become clear, information will be sent by email to all ticketholders. Updates on programmes will become available on our website.

We kindly request visitors to refrain from approaching us for more information by email or telephone.

For the very first time, Super-Sonic Jazz Amsterdam will host an Kingsnight Festival on Sunday, April 26 at Paradiso Noord in Amsterdam, which is the night before the national holiday Kingsday. Please note: Paradiso Noord is an indoor location.

There will be continuous music by live bands and DJ's in two areas.

Neue Grafik Ensemble (live)

DJ, producer and pianist Neue Grafik from Paris is one of the most promising new acts from the European electronic scene. He made a name for himself as a DJ and producer, with a great preference for genres such as house, breakbeat, grime, hip hop and of course: jazz. After many visits to London's Total Refreshment Center, the famous breeding ground of the exciting London jazz scene, he befriended musicians such as Emma-Jean Thackray (multi-instrumentalist, singer and arranger) Dougal Taylor (drummer, known from his work with Vels Trio) and Matt Gedrych (bass player). The foursome together form Neue Grafik Ensemble, and released their mini album "Folden Road" in 2019, named after the street on which the Total Refreshment Center is located. The album also features contributions from saxophonist Nubya Garcia, singer Allysha Joy and spoken word artist Brother Portrait.

Route naar Tolhuistuin

Tolhuistuin (voorheen Paradiso Noord) is gevestigd aan IJpromenade 2 in Amsterdam Noord. Vanaf Amsterdam Centraal kun je met de gratis veerpont naar de overkant, waar je na links af te hebben geslagen, tegen Tolhuistuin aanloopt. Voor clubnachten wordt de ingang aan de achterkant gebruikt (Buiksloterweg 5C), die te bereiken is via het Overhoeksplein. In het pand bevindt zich restaurant THT, dat een uitgebreide menukaart voor iedere muziekliefhebber serveert - reserveren wordt aangeraden.
