Op donderdag 12 maart 2020 heeft de Nederlandse overheid in overleg met het Rijksinstituut voor Volksgezondheid en Milieu (RIVM) onder meer besloten dat evenementen met meer dan honderd personen verboden zijn. Dit in betrekking tot het indammen van de verspreiding van het coronavirus COVID-19. Tot en met maandag 1 juni 2020 moeten alle programma’s worden opgeschort en waar mogelijk verplaatst.Gezien de omvang van het programma van Paradiso kan het een aantal weken duren voordat er meer informatie is over de opgeschorte programma’s. Wanneer de wijzigingen duidelijk zijn, wordt per programma een e-mail met informatie naar alle ticketkopers verstuurd. Updates over programma’s zal ook beschikbaar komen op de programma-pagina’s op onze website.

We verzoeken bezoekers om niet telefonisch of per e-mail om meer informatie te vragen.

IN ORDER TO HELP PREVENT THE SPREAD OF THE COVID-19 VIRUS, THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED

In order to help prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Dutch Government under advice from the Ministry of Environment and Health (RIVM) has decided to cancel events of 100 or more attendees. Up to and including maandag 1 June 2020, all events must be cancelled and rescheduled when possible.Due to the extensive amount of events in Paradiso, it may take a few weeks before there is more information on the consequences. When the rescheduled dates become clear, information will be sent by email to all ticketholders. Updates on programmes will become available on our website.

Music That Moves is a new club concept in Paradiso's intimate upper room that focuses underground techno, hosted by Shinedoe. For the second edition first edition, the Amsterdam-based techno event invites Hemka & Elisa Batti.

Hemka does not give you much option than to jack your body. Her compositions are fast-paced and frantic, still containing enough psychedelic and mystifying elements to sweep away the listener. The same highly concentrated canned-up dynamic is expressed when Hemka is behind the decks. She excellently manages to capture her core as a producer (as well as speaking her mind) through carefully picking tracks matching her mood. She is not afraid to let the crowd know she needs their response. She says she loves to hear the dancers “scream and whistle”, seeing the passion in their eyes. Hemka wants her audience to know she needs their energy and support to deliver with full force.

Elisa Batti is a sound designer, pro­ducer and DJ, currently based in Ams­ter­dam. Her activ­ity is diver­si­fied between a spec­trum of dif­fer­ent projects, all of them though, con­nected through one red line: elec­tronic music. She started her career in 2007, work­ing for the con­tem­po­rary dance scene, exper­i­ment­ing with soft­wares and sounds, cre­at­ing sound­tracks and land­scapes for chore­o­g­ra­phers. Since 2015 Elisa Batti slowly stepped actively into the techno envi­ron­ment as a DJ. Recently she started a new col­lab­o­ra­tion strictly focused on techno (live set and music pro­duc­tion) with CYB. In 2018 they found together the label: Imma­te­r­ial Archives. Such a var­ied approach to the music is also due to Elisa’s back­ground, which is not strictly artis­tic.

Shinedoe's passion for the finer elements of electronic dance music has seen her win over hearts and minds in every aspect she has turned her attention to - from her transformative DJ performances, authoritative productions and exquisitely curated labels - Intacto and now the newly formed MTM Records. Like only a handful others in the scene, her name signifies a strength of purpose and commitment to quality that is rare in the world of dance music.
