Voorafgaand aan het concert in Paradiso gaat de Lee Fields-documentaire 'Faithful Man' (2022) in premiere in Melkweg Cinema, gepresenteerd door Paradiso, Melkweg en IN-EDIT Film Festival. Kijk hier voor meer informatie.
Lee Fields ademt soul sinds zijn geboorte in 1951. Als tiener verhuist hij eind jaren ’60 naar New York om aan zijn carrière als zanger te werken. Met succes, want al snel groeit de Amerikaanse artiest uit tot een fenomeen en gaat hij op tournee met onder andere Kool and the Gang, Sammy Gordon and the Hip-Huggers, O.V Wright, Darrell Banks en Little Royal. Vandaag de dag staat hij in de voorhoede van de soul revival en wordt zijn muziek in stukjes gehakt en gesampled door hiphopartiesten als J. Cole en Travis Scott.

Paradiso is gevestigd aan de Weteringschans 6-8. Dat is dicht bij het Leidseplein en goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer (metro 52 en diverse trams). Je kunt je fiets gratis en bewaakt parkeren in de ondergrondse parkeergarage op het Leidseplein. In de buurt van Paradiso zijn meerdere parkeergarages.
