Paradiso presenteert Ultraista in Bitterzoet. Adres: Spuistraat 2, Amsterdam.
‘Ultraista’ is het nieuwe project van Radiohead-producer Nigel Godrich. Samen met multi-instrumentalist Joey Waronker (voornamelijk bekend als drummer bij o.a. Beck en R.E.M.) en zangeres Laura Bettinson maakt Ultraista subtiele electropop. In mei liet Ultraista hun eerste voorproefje horen in de vorm van het nummer ‘Smalltalk’, met een online buzz tot gevolg. Op 1 oktober verschijnt ook debuutalbum van Ultraista. Het trio, vernoemd naar een surrealistische stroming in de Spaanse literatuur van begin vorige eeuw, ontmoette elkaar in 2009 en werkte het afgelopen jaar samen aan de liedjes van Ultraista’s debuutalbum.
