The Surrealist Ball

In samenwerking met het Imagine Film Festival, presenteert Amsterdam Spook The Surrealist Ball op 15 april 2017. Het bal is deels geïnspireerd op de overdadige kostuumfeesten van de Rothschilds uit de jaren 70 en het ‘fantastic fashion’-thema van het Imagine Film Festival 2017.

PROGRAMMA
Met performances van theatergroepen, een luchtacrobaat, een bodypainter, kunstzinnige fashionista’s en live kostuumstyling. Kijk naar of doe mee aan live modelschilderen, de fotografenhoek, de Catwalk of Tomfoolery, en mode en kunstinstallaties door lokale kunstenaars. De dj’s zullen ervoor zorgen dat je alles niet al te serieus neemt. Verwacht het ongewone en bizarre, terwijl we je bij de hand nemen en volledig onderdompelen in het surreële. DRESSCODE
Kostuum verplicht. Surrealistische mode of gemaskerd. OVER AMSTERDAM SPOOK
Gedreven door een passie voor de kunst van kostuums, special effects, make-up, het maken van rekwisieten, performancekunst, storytelling en grenzeloze creativiteit, organiseert Amsterdam Spook themafeesten in Amsterdam sinds 2000 – waaronder een inmiddels legendarisch Halloween-feest. Spook werkt samen met diverse artiesten, kostuummakers, rekwisietenmakers, filmmakers en creatieve knutselaars

Uitsluitend toegang 18 jaar en ouder. Bij twijfel wordt legitimatie gevraagd.

Je ticket omvat een volledige styling en make-up sessie. Om je een perfect passend kostuum aan te kunnen bieden, zul je vooraf een formulier ontvangen waarmee je de benodigde informatie kunt doorgeven. Op basis van je antwoorden zullen de stylisten een complete look voor je bedenken. Het enige wat je nog hoeft te doen is naar Paradiso Noord komen! PROGRAMME
Performance artists include theatre troupes, aerialist, body painter, artful fashionistas & live costume styling. Take part or take in life model painting, photographers corner, Catwalk of Tomfoolery, and fashion & art installations by local artists. And, the DJs will make sure you don’t take it all too seriously. Expect the unusual and the bizarre, as we take you by the hand and fully immerse in the surreal.

Book a VIP ticket and let the team of creative costumiers, stylists & makeup artists from Spook & The Makeoverfactory craft a bespoke surrealist costume just for you.

Your ticket includes full styling and makeup by creative artists  and stylists  In order to tailor your surreal costume and do your subconscious justice, we will send you a questionnaire in advance. Based on your answers, we will craft a complete look just for you. Then, all you need to do is show up.
