Het concert van The Stroppies op 30 mei is afgelast vanwege het annuleren van de Europese tour in verband met het coronavirus. Gezien de omvang van het programma van Paradiso dat in maart en april al is afgelast, kan het een aantal weken duren voordat er meer informatie is over de opgeschorte programma’s. Wanneer alle details duidelijk zijn, wordt per programma een e-mail met informatie naar alle ticketkopers verstuurd. Updates over programma’s zullen ook beschikbaar komen op de programma-pagina’s op onze website.

The The Stroppies concert of May 30th is cancelled due to the cancellation of the European tour due to the coronavirus. Due to the extensive amount of events in Paradiso that's been suspended in March and April, it may take a few weeks before there is more information on the consequences. When more details are known, information will be sent by email to all ticket holders.

Hi All,

We are very sorry to say our upcoming UK/EU May 2020 tour has been cancelled. We we're really looking forward to coming back and in particular, returning to a few of our favourite places from last year but at this point in time it is not tenable and would be irresponsible in regards to the health of concert goers and ourselves. To everyone who has purchased tickets we can't thank you enough for your support and enthusiasm.
 
If it is within your means however, perhaps you might consider donating your ticket costs to the venues and promoters who no doubt are facing a very tough time professionally and financially. The physical and social infrastructure that exists to support a band like us is so fragile and is very important. Often times, these businesses and endeavors operate on very modest profit margins so any help you can afford them in this trying time on our behalf would be greatly appreciated.
 
If you would like to support the Stroppies and help us recoup a touch of our tour costs, purchase something from our Bandcamp as the platform is waiving its fees and we will get %100 percent of the profits. We have a new record you can pre-order called LOOK ALIVE! that comes with a pretty nifty bonus 7" that you can only get through that channel so it's a good time to nab one. Our first EP has just had its third repress so why not grab that. I will also put 20 up on our Australian Big Cartel page for Aus customers who want a better postage price.

Het Australische The Stroppies begon initieel als lo-fi slaapkamerproject van de ambitieuze leden. De oprichters van de indiepopgroep zitten allemaal in meerdere bands tegelijk en komen bij Twerps, The Stevens, Boomgates Dick Diver en Blank Statements vandaan. Inmiddels uitgegroeid tot een kwartet, heeft de fanatieke band een solide basis opgebouwd. Laatste wapenfeit is het onlangs verschenen album 'Whoosh', een vlotte en ongedwongen plaat met luchtige indiepop.
