In 2005 ontstond uit de restjes van Simian het producers- en remixteam Simian Mobile Disco, bestaande uit James Ellis Ford en James Anthony Shaw. Hoewel er meerdere singles werden uitbracht, zoals ‘The Count’ op Kitsune Records, werden ze vooral bekend van remixen van The Go! Team, Air en meer. Zelf omschrijft het duo hun muziek als ‘Good Old Fashioned Analogue Party Music’. Acid, disco, gitaren en vocalen. Verwacht een energieke liveset vol dansvloerkrakers.
