Paradiso presenteert School is Cool in Bitterzoet. Adres: Spuistraat 2, Amsterdam.
School is Cool is een indiesextet uit Antwerpen, opgericht in 2009. Het album ‘Entropology’ (2011) stelde België, Nederland en Frankrijk voor aan hun uitzonderlijke indiepop. Met energetische drums, eighties synths, apocalyptische teksten en groteske barok refreinen legden ze de fundering voor hun monumentale debuutalbum, geproduceerd door Das Pop’s Reinhard Vanbergen. Eind 2013 trok de band de studio in voor de opnames van het tweede album ‘Nature Fear’. Ze produceerden de plaat eigenhandig in New York, samen met Scott Jacoby en Emily Lazar, bekend van hun werk met Haim en Vampire Weekend.
