Paradiso presenteert Night Beds in Bitterzoet. Adres: Spuistraat 2, Amsterdam.
Night Beds is het alter ego van de 23-jarige Winston Yellen. Als jonge twintiger werd hij verlaten door zijn vriendin. Hij zocht heil in drank en stopte met studeren. Op zoek naar zichzelf trok hij vijf maanden door Amerika om uiteindelijk te belanden in Nashville. Hier trok hij in het huis waar Johnny Cash en June Carter ooit woonden, en waar de inspiratie in de lucht hing. De jonge singer-songwriter nam op deze bijzondere plek zijn debuutalbum ‘Country Sleep’ op; een plaat die doet denken aan de dromerige rock van My Morning Jacket en de pure folkmuziek van Fleet Foxes en Ryan Adams.
